Replacing Sub-Part For Tail Light

1. Push new sub-part for tail light through towards the engine compartment.
2. Crimp line -1-  and new tail light sub-part line -2-  for the vehicle in area -X-  .
   1. 2.1 Cut off lines in different lengths (for the shrink-fit hose connections).
   2. 2.2 Slide shrink-fit hoses onto the lines.
   3. 2.3 Strip 10 mm of insulation off the wires.
   4. 2.4 Crimp lines with crimping sleeves using > VAS 1978/1A - Crimping pliers  .
   5. 2.5 Slide shrink-fit hoses over the crimp connections, heat them using > V.A.G 1416 - Hot-Air Blower  and carefully shrink them until watertight.
   6. 2.6 Wrap commercially available PVC tape all around the area of the connection points in the crimped area -X-  .

3. Attach retaining clips on the wire harness -1-  and clip them to the body.
