Loosening Sub-Part For PDK
- Risk of damage to lines
→ The main wire harness contains all airbag lines, antenna lines and optical waveguides.
→ The main wire harness must not be separated and is always replaced as a complete wire harness when carrying out extensive repairs.
→ If individual lines are damaged, shut off these lines and install new lines. Lay the new lines along the main wire harness and secure them to the main wire harness.
- Open the right central connector -1-
by turning it anti-clockwise -arrow A-
and pull it off -arrow B-

- Open the left central connector -1-
by turning it anti-clockwise -arrow A-
and pull it off -arrow B-

- Release and disconnect electric plug connections on sensors -1-

- Release electric plug connections, -1-
disconnect them and unclip them from the -2-
holder -arrow-
.

- Loosen fastening points.
- 5.1 Release fixing clips -1- from cable duct for B+ line -3- .
- 5.2 Loosen fastening screws -2- of cable duct for B+ line -3- .

- Carefully push cable duct for B+ line to one side in order to thread the line beneath it.

- Guide the PDK sub-part outwards, starting from the right.
- Detach rubber sleeve -1-
under the rear seat.

- Release and disconnect electric plug connections on the transmission control unit.

To do this, fold the carpet at the right forward slightly.
- Prepare sub-part for disconnection.
- 12.1 Unclip fixing clips -1- on the seat well.
- 12.2 Unwrap insulation in area -2- of the connection for the PDK transmission control unit.
Sub-part
- Disconnect sub-part in area -X- .
Cut off lines in different lengths (for the shrink-fit hose connections).
