Removing Main Wire Harness

Cable duct

1. 2.1 Open the cable duct -1-  .
2. 2.2 Remove wire harness from the cable duct -1-  .

Disconnect sub-part of transmission.

1. 3.1 Unclip clips -3-  in the passenger compartment using a plastic spatula and release and disconnect electric plug connections -1 and 2-  .

2. 3.2 Remove rubber sleeve -1-  from the body aperture.

3. 3.3 Unclip clips -1-  on transmission using a plastic spatula.

4. 3.4 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  .

5. 3.5 Release and disconnect electric plug connection on change-over valve -1-  .

6. 3.6 Pull sub-part for transmission into the passenger compartment.

Disconnect sub-part for PDK.

1. 5.1 Make sure that all electric plug connections are released and disconnected.
2. 5.2 Make sure that all brackets are unclipped and released.
3. 5.3 Pull all sub-parts into the passenger compartment and remove main wire harness.
