Loosening Main Wire Harness In Left Wheel Housing
NOTE:
Incorrect handling of main wire harness
- Risk of damage to lines
→ The main wire harness contains all airbag lines, antenna lines and optical waveguides.
→ The main wire harness must not be separated and is always replaced as a complete wire harness when carrying out extensive repairs.
→ If individual lines are damaged, shut off these lines and install new lines. Lay the new lines along the main wire harness and secure them to the main wire harness.
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection for airbag sensor.
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection for electric fan.
- Release and disconnect front range control angle sensor electric plug connection.

remove from holder -2-

Electric plug connection
- Release and remove B+ line connection -1-
.
- 5.1 Unclip B+ line connection -1- from the bracket -2- . Arrow.
- 5.2 Release fuse -arrow A- and remove connector -arrow B- .
B+ line connection
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection for hydraulic unit.
- Cut base cable ties -1 and 2-

Base cable ties
- Loosen main wire harness in left wheel housing.
- 8.1 Pull wire harness in the left wheel housing through the spring strut mount into the plenum panel.
