Subsequent Work

Information 

Servo motors must be taught following replacement using the PIWIS Tester.

1. Fill in coolant.

   193817 DRAINING AND FILLING COOLANT

2. Fill in refrigerant.

   870317 DRAINING AND FILLING REFRIGERANT R134A

   870317 DRAINING AND FILLING REFRIGERANT R1234YF

3. Install battery/vehicle electrical system.

   270619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BATTERY/VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

4. Install front footwell outlet vent.

   805519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT FOOTWELL OUTLET VENT

5. Install dashboard bracket.

   Refer to the appropriate service information.

   If the heating/fresh-air unit was replaced, the servo motors must be taught. 

6. Teach servo motors.
   1. 6.1 Connect the PIWIS Tester to the vehicle and switch on the PIWIS Tester.
   2. 6.2 Switch on the ignition.
   3. 6.3 Start diagnostics.
   4. 6.4 Select "front-end electronics" control unit.
   5. 6.5 Select the "Maintenance and repairs" tab.
   6. 6.6 Select the "Teach flap drive motors" menu item and press F12 to continue.
   7. 6.7 Follow the instructions on the Tester.
