Securing Front Brake CALLIPER

Front brake calliper in wheel housing (shown as an example)

1. 2.1  Fit brake calliper -1-  on wheel bearing housing.
2. 2.2  Replace brake calliper screws -2-  .
3. 2.3 Screw in and tighten new  brake calliper screws -2-  .

   Grey cast-iron brakes: 

   > Initial tightening 30 Nm (22.1 ftlb.) 

   > Final tightening + 75° 

   PSCB brakes: 

   PCCB brakes: 

   > Initial tightening 30 Nm (22.1 ftlb.) 

   > Final tightening + 75°

   Front brake calliper

1. 3.1  Fit holder -1-  .
2. 3.2  Screw in and tighten screw on holder -2-  .

   > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

   Holder on wheel bearing housing

1. 4.1  Engage line retaining rubbers -2-  in the holder -3-  .
2. 4.2  Connect electric plug connection for brake pad wear indicator -1-  , lock it and clip it into the holder -3-  .

Information 

The brake fluid level must be between the Min  and Max  markings.
