Removing Brake Disc Air Guide (Front)

  1. Remove cover on love; trailing arm -1-  .

    Mounting for cover on lower trailing arm

    1. 1.1  Unscrew and remove screws -2-  .
  2. Remove tie-rod ball -1-  from the wheel bearing housing.

    Mounting for tie-rod bal.

    1. 2.1  Unscrew nut -2-  and counter using > 9546 - screwdriver  at the ball-joint pin.
    2. 2.2  Press off the tie-rod ball using > 9560 - press-out tool-1-  .

  3. Check the boot -1-  of the tie-rod ball for signs of damage. If the boot is damaged, replace the tie-rod ball.

  4. Remove brake disc air guide -1-  .

    1. 4.1  Cut tie-wrap -2-  .
