Check Actuator Travel Of Brake Shoes

Information 

The actuator travel of the brake shoes only needs to be checked for brake discs with an aluminium brake hub.

  1. Close electric parking brake using the button.
  2. Read out left/right actuator position.
    1. 2.1 > 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3  must now be connected. Then select Brake electronics (PSM) > Actual values/input signals > Left actuator position and right actuator position. 
  3. If the value is greater than > Length 4.5 mm  , perform calibration.
