- local restrictions and export restrictions,
- manufacturer's specifications from component and vehicle manufacturers,
- component-specific specifications.
These strict specifications apply in particular:
- Storage, installation and removal, transport and disposal of vehicles, assemblies, operating materials and auxiliary materials,
- handling of defective and potentially hazardous vehicles as well as assemblies,
- handling of battery electric vehicles and high-voltage components.
For this purpose, take into account relevant and qualified information sources such as local authorities, responsible importers, associations and specialist website. Deliver items to be disposed of only to authorised reception points.
These regulations must be requested and complied with for all phases of life and work by the vehicle manager and documented if necessary.

Suitable PPE (personal protective equipment) as well as appropriate safety guards and tools must be used for the duration of the work.
The personal protective equipment consists of:
Hand protection:
Protective gloves with mechanical, insulating, thermal and chemical protection.
Body protection:
Waisted jacket, trousers or a combination with protection against mechanical influences, moving parts, thermal influences, electrical energy and chemical substances.
Safety footwear:
Shoes with toe protection (S1), ESD-certified.
Face protection:
Tight-fitting protective goggles, visor
PPE (personal protective equipment) must always be visually inspected prior to use and must be replaced on a regular basis. The country-specific specifications indicate the test interval.
