Removing Charge Air Cooler

1. Loosen air scoop for throttle valve -1-  , line for positive crankcase ventilation -2-  and vacuum line -3-  .

   Loosen screw-type clamp -4-  and pull air scoop for throttle valve -1-  off the charge-air cooler.

   Release and disconnect positive crankcase ventilation line -2-  .

   Release and disconnect vacuum line -3-  .

2. Release and disconnect cable plugs for boost pressure sensor -1-  and recirculating air valves -2-  .

3. Remove -1-  loudspeakers for exterior acoustics.

   Loosen spring band clamps -2-  and pull off lines.

   Remove screws -3- 

   Release and disconnect plug connection -4-  on the body.

   Remove -1-  Loudspeakers for exterior acoustics.

4. Disconnect pressure hose -1-  and recirculating air hose -2-  at the charge-air cooler.

   Loosen screw-type clamps -3-  and pull off pressure hose -1-  .

   Loosen spring band clamps -4-  and pull off recirculating air hose -2-  .

5. Detach charge air cooler -1-  .

   Unscrew screws -2-  .

   Replace screws during installation.

   Drill out head of support sleeve -3-  using a drill bit (approx. 10 mm in diameter) and push support sleeve -3-  forwards through the bracket.

   Remove charge-air cooler -1-  .

6. Remove air guides -1-  and -2-  .
