Preliminary Work

1. Remove battery/vehicle electrical system.

Information 

Make sure not to damage the electric lines.

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  on the battery console -2-  .

2. Carefully lift the battery console -2-  and turn it around until the electric plug connection for the fuel pump control unit is accessible.

3. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  on control unit for fuel pump -2-  .

4. Unscrew fastening nuts -3-  and remove control unit for fuel pump -2-  .
