Removing Chain Tensioner - Cylinder Bank 2

CAUTION: Hot components
  • Risk of burns

    → Let hot components cool down.

    → Wear personal protective gear.

  1. Disconnect vent line -1-  .

    Vent line

    Release and disconnect quick connectors -2 and 3-  .

    Unclip vent line -1-  from clip -4-  .

    Move vent line -1-  aside.

  2. Remove chain tensioner -1-  .

    Chain tensioner on cylinder bank 2

    Unscrew chain tensioner -1-  .

    Remove chain tensioner -1-  and collect escaping oil.
