Removing Upper Control Arm (Front)
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Release parking brake.
- Change into neutral gear.
- Remove drive shaft -1-
from the transmission flange.

- 3.1 Unscrew screws -2-
and remove plates (turn the drive shaft in order to access the screws).
Information
Make sure that the drive shaft does not hang down as this may damage the joint.
- 3.2 Suspend the drive shaft on rear-axle carrier side section.
- 3.1 Unscrew screws -2-
and remove plates (turn the drive shaft in order to access the screws).
- Remove upper control arm (front) -1-
from the wheel bearing housing.
- 4.1 Loosen threaded joint -2- .
- Loosen threaded joint -3-
securing upper control arm (front) to rear-axle carrier side section.
Mounting for upper control arm (front)
- 5.1 Unscrew nut. (Screw remains screwed in).
- Tilt the wheel suspension outwards at the top so that the screw can be removed from the upper control arm (front).
- 6.1 Unscrew screws -2- from the rear-axle carrier side section -1- .
- 6.2 Unscrew nut -3-
from the rear-axle carrier side section -1-

- 6.3 Carefully tilt the wheel suspension outwards as far as required at the top -arrow A- so that the screw can be removed from the upper control arm (front) -1- .

- Remove upper control arm (front) -2-
from the rear axle carrier.

- 7.1 Remove screw -1- and upper control arm (front) -2- .
