Removing Trailing Arm

Information 

Applies only to vehicles with grey cast iron brakes and rear axle steering:  Trailing arm -1-  is removed together with brake disc air guide -2-  .

   Mounting for trailing arm

   1. 1.1 Mark eccentric position for installation. > Mounting for trailing arm on rear axle carrier

   2. 1.2 Loosen threaded joint securing trailing arm to wheel bearing housing -2-  .
   3. 1.3 Loosen threaded joint securing trailing arm to rear axle cross member -3-  .
2. Applies only to vehicles with grey cast iron brakes and rear axle steering:  If you are replacing the trailing arm: Convert brake disc air guide to suit the new trailing arm.
