- Install struts.
- Install charge-air cooler.
- Secure rear wheel bolts/central bolts.
- Connect ground line for battery.
270619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BATTERY/VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Fill in refrigerant.
Refer to WM, 870317 DRAINING AND FILLING REFRIGERANT R1234YF
- Fill in coolant.
- Bleed the cooling system.
- Only for Cabriolet:
Close convertible top.
- Read out the fault memory and delete faults.
Refer to WM, 033500 ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS FAULT MEMORY . .
- If fuel injectors were replaced:
Teach IMA values.
Connect the PIWIS Tester to the vehicle and switch on the PIWIS Tester.
Switch on the ignition.
Start diagnostics.
Select "DME" control unit.
Select the "Maintenance/repairs" tab.
Select the "Injectors" menu item and press F12 to continue.
Select the "Install new injectors" sub-procedure and press F12 to continue.
Follow the instructions on the Tester.
