Removing Cylinder Head Cover - Cylinder Bank 4-6

NOTE: Dirt and contamination

Risk of damage to units or components
→ Protect components from dirt and contamination.

→ Clean or replace dirty components.

Disconnect turbocharger lines.
Release and disconnect quick connector -1- .

Unclip lines -2 to 4- from retaining clip -5-.

Unscrew scrvs -6 and 7- and remove turbocharger oil line.

Unscrew and remove scre/s -8. and 9- .

Lay lines aside.

Catch escaping oil and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.

Remove bracket for engine mount -1- .
Unscrew and remove screws -2 and 3- .

Remove bracket for engine mount -1- .

Engine mount bracket (shown on cylinder bank 1-3)
Remove the cylinder head cover.
Uncrew screws in the sequence -19 to 1- .

Remove the cylinder head cover.

Clean cylinder head cover seal, check sealing faces for damage and replace, if necessary.
