Installing Oil Separator

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove cover for the take-up bores.
  2. Grease new O-rings with Kluber Syntheso Glep (Porsche part number 000.043.204.68).
  3. Install the oil separator.

    Fit oil separator into the bracket for the oil/water heat exchanger.

    Fit and tighten screws.

    > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 

    Fit vent line on the oil separator and check that it is seated securely.

  4. Metric screws (M6 x 25) can also be used as an alternative to the standard self-tapping screws.

    > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 

  5. Clip in wiring harness for starter and generator.
