Removing Engine Mounting

  1. Remove heat shield -1-  .

    Heat shield on rear bracket

    Unscrew nuts. -2-  and remove heat shield -1- 

  2. Vehicles with PADM: 

    Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  .

    Electric plug connection for PADM engine mount (shown on Carrera)

  3. Remove engine mount -1-  .

    Mark the position of the engine mount -1-  on both sides of the bodyshell -Arrow-  .

    Unscrew screws -2-  and remove engine mount -1-  .
