Removing Drive Belt

  1. Remove spacer sleeve -1-  .

    Unscrew screw -2-  using > 9953 - socket-wrench insert  .

    Remove spacer sleeve -1-  .

  2. Mark the rolling direction of the drive belt.
  3. Slacken the drive belt -1-  .

    > 9952 - Ring wrench  must be fitted on the hexagon -3-  of the tensioning roller -2-  . Then, turn it clockwise as far as it will go and hold it at this position.

    Remove drive belt -1-  from generator pulley -4-  .

    Carefully allow the tensioning roller -2-  to turn back to its original position.

  4. Slide the flat side of the drive belt up past the coolant pump pulley -Arrow-  .

  5. Turn the drive belt -1-  90 degrees, guide the flat side past the vibration damper and remove it.

    Information 

    • Check for foreign objects in the grooves of the pulley. 
  6. Check pulleys for damage.
