Removing Oil Pan

Unscrew screw on the holder -2-  , remove coolant pipe from the coolant pump and replace O-rings.

Unscrew screws for the coolant guide -5-  and remove component.

Check moulded seals for signs of damage and replace if necessary.

Unscrew screw on oil pan, bank 1-3 -2-  and holder -3-  and disconnect oil line -1-  .

Unscrew screw on oil pan, bank 4-6 -4-  and holder -3-  and disconnect oil line -1-  .

Replace O-rings. 

Release and disconnect cable plug -3-  .

Remove spring clamp -1-  .

Unscrew and remove screws -2-  .

Unscrew and remove screws -1 to 22-  .

Remove upper part of oil pan with bulkhead box in a downward direction.

The moulded seal can be re-used. Check for damage and only replace it if necessary.

Replace small seals on the bulkhead box!

Clean the oil pan in a parts washer.

Clean and degrease sealing faces on the crankcase (using solvent naphtha or metal cleaner for example). Allow parts to dry off well.
