Removing Oil Cooler

WARNING: Hot fluid

Danger of scalding
→ Let the fluid cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

Disconnect coolant hoses and positive crankcase ventilation line at the oil cooler.
Clamp coolant hoses -1- using > 3094 - hose clamps .

Open spring band clamps -2- , disconnect coolant hoses and set them aside.

Close off coolant hoses and collect emerging fluid.

Pull positive crankcase ventilation line -3- out of the bracket.

For vehicles with PDCC:
Disconnect lines -1- and -2- .

Loosen clamps -3- .

Pull off lines -1- and -2- .

Collect emerging oil.

Remove support -1- .

Oil filter support

Unscrew screws -2- .

Remove support -1- .
Remove oil cooler -1- .
Unscrew screws -2- and remove oil cooler.

Collect escaping fluids.

Remove sealing rings -2- on the oil cooler bracket -1- .
Catch any fluid that flows out and clean the sealing faces with a clean cloth.
