Drain Engine Oil

Information 

• Only use engine oils that have been tested and approved by Porsche AG. 
• Dispose of used oil and oil filter in accordance with legal requirements in your country. 

1. Extend the rear spoiler on the display and operator control unit  in the CAR  menu using the screen button.
2. Open the rear lid.
3. Cabriolet and Targa vehicles:  Move convertible top to service position.

4. Open the cover -2-  on the oil filler neck by turning it anti-clockwise.

   Information 

   • Replace drain plug at each oil change. 
5. Unscrew drain plug -1-  using > T10549 - assembly tool-2-  and drain engine oil into a suitable container.

   Replace drain plug.

6. After draining the engine oil, fit drain plug.

   Screw in drain plug as far as it will go by hand and engage it.

7. Replace cap on oil filler neck if it is damaged.
