Removing Spring Strut, Rear

  1. Removing outer rear retaining frame support -1-  .

    Support for rear retaining frame

    1. 1.1  Unscrew screws -2 and 3-  .
  2. Removing spring strut, rear from the body.

    Mounting for spring strut, rear on body (shown on the Coupe as an example)

    1. 2.1  Release electric plug connection -1-  and pull it off.
    2. 2.2  Unscrew nuts -2-  .
  3. Removing trailing arm -1-  from wheel bearing housing.

    1. 3.1  Loosen threaded joint securing trailing arm to wheel bearing housing -2-  .
  4. Removing spring strut, rear -1-  from the wheel bearing housing.

    1. 4.1  Loosen threaded joint -2-  .
  5. Removing spring strut, rear by pulling it downwards.
