Installing Charge Air Cooler

1. Install air guides.
2. Position and secure charge-air cooler -1-  .
   1. 2.1 Insert new  pin -3-  into the support sleeve and lock support panel.
   2. 2.2 Fit and tighten new screws -2-  .

      > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

3. Install pressure hose -1-  and recirculating air hose -2-  .

   Coat hoses with Klubergel Plus for assembly. 

   1. 3.1 Tighten screw-type clamps -3-  .

      > Tightening torque 5.5 Nm (4 ftlb.) +/- 0.5 Nm (0.3 ftlb.) 

   2. 3.2 Secure recirculating air hose with a spring band clamp -4-  .

4. Install loudspeakers for exterior acoustics -1-  .
   1. 4.1 Connect hoses and tighten spring band clamps -2-  .
   2. 4.2 Fit and tighten screws -3-  .

      > Tightening torque 2 Nm (1.5 ftlb.) + 0.2 Nm (0.1 ftlb.) 

   3. 4.3 Connect plug connection -4-  to the body and check that it is fitted securely.

5. Connect cable plugs for boost pressure sensor -1-  and recirculating air valves -2-  and check that they are fitted securely.

6. Secure air box for throttle valve -1-  and connect positive crankcase ventilation line -2-  and vacuum line -3-  .
   1. 6.1 Secure air box for throttle valve -1-  on the charge-air cooler with a screw-type clamp -4-  .

      > Tightening torque 5.5 Nm (4.1 ftlb.) +/- 0.5 Nm (0.4 ftlb.) 

   2. 6.2 Connect positive crankcase ventilation line -2-  and check that it is fitted securely.
   3. 6.3 Connect vacuum line -3-  and check that it is fitted securely.
