Removing Directional-Control Valve For Thermal Management

  1. Remove heat protection on directional-control valve for thermal management -1-  .

    Detach holder -2-  from heat protection -1-  .

    Unscrew and remove screws -3-  .

    Remove heat protection -1-  and loosen electric line from holder -4-  .

    Heat protection on directional-control valve for thermal management

    WARNING: Hot fluid 
    • Danger of scalding 

      → Let the fluid cool down.

      → Wear personal protective gear.

  2. Remove directional-control valve -1-  .

    Release and disconnect vacuum line -2-  .

    Loosen spring band clamp -3-  and pull off coolant hose.

    Collect emerging coolant.

    Unscrew and remove screws -4-  .

    Remove directional-control valve -1-  and collect emerging coolant.
