Installing Coolant Regulator

Coat O-rings, hoses and lines in the cooling system with Kluberplus Gel (Part No. 000.043.205.93).

The sealing lip -1- must be facing you and must not be folded over -arrow- .

Sealing lip on metal sealing ring

Check that the sealing lip -1- is fitted correctly in the coolant regulator housing.
Reshape the sealing lip slightly with your finger before fitting it.
Install coolant regulator -2- carefully.
Connect cable plug -1- .

Check that the cable plug is seated securely.

Secure coolant regulator.
Position heat shield -1- .

Screw in and tighten screws -2- .

> Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)
