Removing Coolant Regulator Housing

Disconnect coolant hose -1- at the left-hand side of the engine compartment.

Left coolant hose

Pull off spring clamp -2- .

Pull off coolant hose -1- .

Insert spring clamp -2- .
Disconnect cable plugs -1-2- and pull off vacuum line.

Remove coolant pipe -1- from the coolant regulator housing.

Lower coolant pipe

Open spring band clamp -2- and pull off coolant hose.

Unscrew screw -3- on the holder.

Pull coolant pipe off the coolant regulator housing -arrow- . Collect coolant in a clean container.
Unscrew screws -2- on the coolant pipe -1- for the coolant pump.

Unscrew screw -2- for coolant supply pipe -1- on the coolant regulator housing and pull off coolant pipe.

Unscrew screw -2- on coolant regulator housing -1- .

Pull coolant regulator housing -1- off the coolant pipe to the rear -right arrow- .

Replace O-rings -2- .
Remove coolant regulator housing -1- by pulling it downwards.

Removal and installation direction
Replace all O-rings and seals.
Clean sealing surfaces.
