Removing Coolant Pump

WARNING: Danger of objects or loads falling down

Risk of squashing or crushing
→ Secure components to prevent them from falling down.

WARNING: Caustic fluids

Danger of chemical burns
→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.

→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.

→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.

Remove coolant pipe -1- from the coolant regulator housing.
Collect emerging coolant in a clean container.

Unscrew screw -2- .

Loosen spring band clamp -3- .

Pull off coolant hose -4- .

Pull coolant pipe off the coolant regulator housing.

Lower coolant pipe
Unscrew screw -2- on the coolant pump holder -1- .

Coolant pump holder
Remove coolant pump -1- with pulley.
Pull off the vacuum hose.

Unscrew M8 -2- and M6 screws -3- and remove coolant pump.

Replace seal and clean sealing faces.
