Installing Additional Coolant Pump

Position additional coolant pump on the front-axle carrier and install coolant hoses. Engage spring clamps and check that the plug-in couplings are fitted securely.
Clip in vent line on the holder -1- and secure the holder -2- .

Secure additional coolant pump -1- with holder -3- and tighten screws -2- .
Use 1/4-inch tools as used for removal!

> Tightening torque 8 Nm (5.9 ftlb.)

Additional coolant pump on front-axle carrier
Install restraining strap -1- and connect wiring harness for additional coolant pump.
Connect cable plug -4- on additional coolant pump.

Engage restraining strap -5- and secure with screw -2- . Fit retaining clip -3- .

> Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

Fit plug-in coupling -3- for front coolant hose -2- on connection piece for the final drive. Check that the plug-in coupling is fitted securely.
