Removing Reservoir

WARNING: Caustic fluids

Danger of chemical burns
→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.

→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.

→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.

Disconnect pressure hose.
Loosen spring clamp -1- and pull off pressure hose -2- .

Pressure hose
Disconnect coolant hose on the reservoir.
Loosen spring clamps -1- and pull off coolant hose -2- .

Disconnect breather hoses.
Release and disconnect breather hoses -2- .

Pull off cable plugs -1- .

Connector for engine coolant level sensor
Remove the reservoir -4- .
Unscrew nut -1- and screw -2- .

Unclip additional coolant pump -3- from the reservoir -4- .

Guide the reservoir -4- out of the engine compartment.
