Installing Front Brake Calliper

WARNING: Danger of injury and damage from brake fluid!

Poisonous if swallowed!
Irritation and damage to skin
Avoid contact with paint surfaces
- Store brake fluid in suitable, labelled containers only
- Wear protective gloves and goggles
- In the event of contact (eyes or skin), wash immediately with water
- In the event of contact with paint surfaces, wash off immediately with water - do not wipe off

Install brake calliper -1- .

1.1 Fit brake calliper -1- .

1.2 Screw in and tighten brake calliper screws -2- .

Grey cast-iron brakes:

> Initial tightening 30 Nm (22.1 ftlb.)

> Final tightening + 75 °

PSCB brakes:

PCCB brakes:

> Initial tightening 30 Nm (22.1 ftlb.)

> Final tightening + 75 °

Front brake calliper

Secure lines on the brake calliper.

2.1 Insert brake line into the brake calliper -4- and screw in and tighten union nut on brake line -3- .
> Tightening torque 16 Nm (12 ftlb.)

2.2 Connect electric plug connection for brake pad wear indicator -1- , lock it and clip it into the holder -2- .
