Securing Front Brake CALLIPER

Remove fastening element -2- and remove brake calliper -1- .

Install brake calliper -1- .

2.1 Fit brake calliper -1- on wheel bearing housing.
2.2 Replace brake calliper screws -2- .

2.3 Screw in and tighten new brake calliper screws -2- .

Grey cast-iron brakes:

> Initial tightening 30 Nm (22.1 ftlb.)

> Final tightening + 75 °

PSCB brakes:

PCCB brakes:

> Initial tightening 30 Nm (22.1 ftlb.)

> Final tightening + 75 °

Front brake calliper

Install holder -1- at the wheel bearing housing.

3.1 Fit holder -1- .

3.2 Screw in and tighten screw on holder -2- .

> Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

Secure electric lines for brake pad wear indicator.

4.1 Engage line retaining rubbers -2- in the holder -3- .

4.2 Connect electric plug connection for brake pad wear indicator -1- , lock it and clip it into the holder -3- .

Press the brake pedal several times to fit the brake pads on the brake disc again.

Information

The brake fluid level must be between the Min and Max markings.
