Functional Assessment

The functional assessment is performed using a multimeter and/or an LED battery status display (if available in the battery housing).

3 Battery voltage = < 10 V or > 14.8 V Yes □ No □
4 LED display (if fitted) = flashes red Yes □ No □

If you answered "Yes" to any one of Points 3 to 4:

Battery status: "Warning" 

Park the vehicle/store the 12 V lithium-ion battery in the quarantine location and attach warning signs in accordance with requirements (see "Handling lithium-ion batteries"). Contact Technical Support; it might be possible to correct the fault.

Check vehicle/12 V lithium-ion battery at regular intervals at least once a day.
