Removing Fuel Line (Low-Pressure Side)

Loosen top section -1- .

Fuel line on low-pressure side (top section)
1. 1.1 Unscrew nuts -2- and remove holder from bolts.
2. 1.2 Release and disconnect quick connector -3- .
3. 1.3 Catch escaping fuel and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
4. 1.4 Guide out top section -1- .
Loosen bottom section -1- on cylinder bank 1.

Low-pressure fuel line (bottom section)
1. 2.1 Unscrew union nut -2- .
2. 2.2 Unscrew screw on holder -3- .
3. 2.3 Unclip holder -4- .
4. 2.4 Catch escaping fuel and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
Remove engine suspension eyelet -1- .

Engine suspension eyelet
1. 3.1 Unscrew screw -2- .
2. 3.2 Unscrew screw -3- .
3. 3.3 Unscrew screws -4- .
4. 3.4 Remove engine suspension eyelet -1- .
Open clip -1- and move electric line -2- aside.

Remove fuel line (low-pressure side) -1- .

Fuel line (low-pressure side)
1. 5.1 Loosen holder for fuel pressure sensor.
  1. 5.1.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection for fuel pressure sensor -2- .
  2. 5.1.2 Unclip clips -3- .
  3. 5.1.3 Unscrew screw on fuel pressure sensor -4- .
2. 5.2 Unscrew union nut -5- .
3. 5.3 Unclip holder -6- and guide out fuel line on low-pressure side -1- .
4. 5.4 Catch escaping fuel and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
