Removing Tank Vent Valve

  1. Disconnect vacuum line -1-  .

    Vacuum line

    1. 1.1 Release and disconnect quick connector -2-  .
    2. 1.2 Unscrew screw -3-  .
    3. 1.3 Unclip clip -4-  .
    4. 1.4 Disconnect vacuum line -1-  in -direction of arrow-  and move it aside.
    5. 1.5 Close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
  2. Pull off the vacuum line -1-  in -direction of arrow-  , move it aside and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.

  3. Release vacuum line -1-  and electric line -2-  .

    Vacuum line and electric line

    1. 3.1 Release and disconnect quick connector -3-  .
    2. 3.2 Close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
    3. 3.3 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -4-  .
    4. 3.4 Move vacuum line -1-  and electric line -2-  to the side.
  4. Release tank vent valve, right -1-  .

    Tank vent valve, right

    1. 4.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  .
    2. 4.2 Open line bracket -3-  and remove line -4-  .
    3. 4.3 Unclip omega clips -5-  .
    4. 4.4 Pull tank vent valve, right -1-  in -direction of arrow-  off holder -6-  .
  5. Release tank vent valve, left -1-  .

    Tank vent valve, left

    1. 5.1 Release and disconnect quick connector -2-  .
    2. 5.2 Close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
    3. 5.3 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -3-  .
    4. 5.4 Pull tank vent valve, left -1-  in -direction of arrow-  off holder -4-  .
  6. Guide out tank vent valves together with lines from the engine compartment.
