Subsequent Work

  1. Install front speed sensor.

    451119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SPEED SENSOR

  2. Install brake disc.

    465019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT BRAKE DISC

  3. Install cover.

    >  WM, 852219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT SPACE) COVER 

  4. Only for all-wheel drive vehicles and for rear-wheel drive vehicles on which the wheel bearing/wheel hub was replaced: 

    Tighten drive shaft/axle journal at the wheel hub. Get another mechanic to help by pressing the brake.

    1. 4.1  Tighten nut -2-  .

      Axle journal to wheel hub: > Initial tightening 250 Nm (184.4 ftlb.)  > Final tightening + 60° 

      Drive shaft to wheel hub: > - >

    2. 4.2  Fit hub cap -1-  .

      Hub cap

  5. Perform suspension alignment and make adjustments if necessary.
