Installing Fuel Supply Line: Notes
Information
Watch out for emerging fuel when disconnecting fuel lines. Place a clean cloth on the connection point, then loosen the connection.

- When installing the fuel lines, make sure not to kink or bend them.

- Get another person to help you to guide the fuel line in and out.
- Guide the fuel line -1-
in from below.
A helper guides the fuel line -1- into installation position by guiding the plug-in coupling -2- between the foam and bulkhead in the luggage compartment from below -arrow- .
Clip in fuel line -1- at the top and connect plug-in coupling -2- on the fuel line flange.
Check that the fuel line -1- and plug-in coupling -2- are fitted securely.

- Clip in fuel line -1-

- Secure the fuel line -1-
at the retaining clips -2-
in the tunnel.

- Connect the fuel line at the connection point -1-

Check that the fuel line is fitted securely by pulling on it. Make sure that the spacer ring -2- is positioned correctly!

- Secure restraining straps on fuel tank -1-

Position fuel tank cover -3- .
Tighten screws -2- .
> Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

Tighten screws -2- .
> Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

> Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)
