Installing Coolant Regulator

Information 

• Coat O-rings, hoses and lines in the cooling system with Kluberplus Gel (Part No. 000.043.205.93). 

Information 

The sealing lip -1-  must be facing you and must not be folded over -arrow-  .

Sealing lip on metal sealing ring

1. Check that the sealing lip -1-  is fitted correctly in the coolant regulator housing.

   Reshape the sealing lip slightly with your finger before fitting it. 

2. Install coolant regulator -2-  carefully.

   Connect cable plug -1-  .

   Check that the cable plug is seated securely.

3. Secure coolant regulator.

   Position heat shield -1-  .

   Screw in and tighten screws -2-  .

   > Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)
