Installing Coolant Pump

Information 

• Coat O-rings, hoses and lines in the cooling system with Kluberplus Gel (Part No. 000.043.305.39). 

1. Coat new seals with the specified lubricant.
2. Install coolant pump -1-  with pulley.

   Insert coolant pump and fit and tighten M8 -2-  and M6 screws -3-  .

   M8 screws: > Tightening torque 33 Nm (24 ftlb.) 

   M6 screws: > Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.) 

   Connect vacuum hose.

3. Fit and tighten screw -2-  on the coolant pump holder -1-  .

   > Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)

4. Install coolant pipe -1-  .

   Install coolant pipe -1-  on the coolant regulator housing.

   Connect coolant hose -4-  and close the spring band clamp -3-  .

   Fit and tighten screw -2-  .

   > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
