Installing Reservoir

WARNING: Caustic fluids
  • Danger of chemical burns

    → Wear personal protective gear.

    → Ensure that there is good ventilation.

    → Avoid contact with caustic fluid.

    → If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.

  1. Install reservoir -4-  .

    Guide the reservoir -4-  into the engine compartment and place in installation position.

    Clip additional coolant pump -3-  into the reservoir -4-  and fit and tighten screw -2-  .

    > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 

    Fit and tighten nut -1-  .

    > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)

  2. Push on cable plug -1-  .

    Connector for engine coolant level sensor

  3. Secure breather hoses.

    Push on breather hoses -2-  until they lock with an audible click.

  4. Secure coolant hose on the reservoir.

    Connect coolant hose -2-  .

  5. Connect pressure hose -2-  .
