Loosening Main Wire Harness In Front Left Roof Pillar Area

Information 

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

• Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work. 
• Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation. 
• Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts. 

1. Disconnect electric plug connections.
   1. 1.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection for rain sensor -1-  and electric plug connection for mirror -2-  and unclip it from holder -3-  .
   2. 1.2 Release and disconnect electric plug connections for camera -4 and 5-  .

2. Disconnect electric plug connections.
   1. 2.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection for stray light -1-  .
   2. 2.2 Unscrew fastening screw -2-  on ground line -3-  .

3. Disconnect electric plug connections.
   1. 3.1 Release and unplug electric plug connection -1-  .
   2. 3.2 Release and disconnect electric plug connection for antenna amplifier -2-  .
   3. 3.3 Release and unplug electric plug connection -3-  .

4. Unclip line bracket -1-  from main wire harness in left roof pillar area -2-  .

5. Unclip line bracket -2-  at the top side of the A-pillar from main wire harness in left roof pillar area -1-  .
