Removing Front Roof Console

Installation position

1. Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 2 m).

   Information 

   The roof console can also be removed without removing the front roof trim panel (center).

2. Unclip front roof trim panel (center) -1-  by pulling it forward -arrow-  (-2-  ).

3. Turn the hook on the front roof trim panel -1-  by 90° -arrow A-  and pull it out of the opening -arrow B-  .

4. Remove front roof trim panel (center).

   Information 

   The grille trim cannot be removed without damaging it irreparably and must be replaced.

5. Unclip grid cover -1-  from front roof console -2-  .

6. Unscrew screw -1-  from front roof console -2-  .

7. Unclip bracket for front roof console -1-  at the marked positions -2-  using an assembly wedge and swivel it downwards -Arrow-  .

8. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  .

9. Disengage front roof console and remove it.
