Removing Rear Side Trim Panel

  1. Fold rear backrest over.
  2. Pull off door seal in the area you are working on.
  3. Unscrew locking pin -1-  from rear side trim panel -2-  .

  4. Using a long screwdriver, loosen tab -2-  on rear side trim panel through the B-pillar opening -1-  to disengage it from the body -Arrows-  .

  5. Detach rear side trim panel -1-  .

    Rear side trim panel

    1. 5.1  Unclip rear side trim panel -1-  by pulling it up -arrow A-  .
    2. 5.2  Remove rear side trim panel -1-  by pulling it inwards -arrow B-  until the electric plug connections are accessible.
  6. Release and disconnect electric plug connections on the rear side trim panel.
  7. Remove rear side trim panel.
