Incorrect handling of safety bolts
- Danger of injury
- Loss of torque
→ Always use new screws or nuts following removal.
→ Comply with instructions for repairs.
→ Observe specified tightening torques.
→ Carry out a visual inspection of parts used.
Information
Check that the clips are not bent or broken.
Check that all clips are positioned fully and correctly.
Replace damaged or missing clips with new ones.
- Installing in reverse order.
Information
Make sure that the seat belt mount is touching the side of the belt strap at the twist lock.
- Tighten screw on seat belt mount to > Tightening torque 50 Nm (36.9 ftlb.) .
