Removing Rear Wheel Housing

Information

The cut is shown and described on the coupe body. In the case of the Cabriolet body, it must be moved outwards as required.

1. Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - body dent removal system, aluminium  and > VAS 6790 - compact booster  .

2. Unscrew self-tapping screws -1-  and -2-  .

3. Mark and make cut on rear wheel housing at -dimension A-  > Distance 20 mm  .

4. Heat the marked bonding areas using > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower  .

5. Remove rear wheel housing.
