Preparing Rear Wheel Housing For Installation

Information

The cut is shown and described on the coupe body. In the case of the Cabriolet body, it must be moved outwards as required.

1. Cut spare part to size.
   1. 1.1  Mark spare part in accordance with the cut on the body with an overlap of -dimension A-  > Distance 20 mm  .
   2. 1.2  Make cut on spare part.

2. Fit in rear wheel housing, check it and secure it to the body.

   > 5X00IN41 GAP DIMENSIONS

3. Drill holes for rivets through the rear wheel housing with > Diameter 6.6 mm  .

4. Drill holes for rivets through the existing holes with > Diameter 6.6 mm  .

5. Drill holes for self-tapping screws through the existing holes with > Diameter 4.0 mm  .

6. Remove rear wheel housing.
7. Prepare marked areas on the rear wheel housing for bonding and riveting.
