Preparing Inner Side Panel (Coupe) For Installation
- Fit inner side panel (Coupe) and secure it to the body.
- Fit in rear wheel housing and secure it to the body.
- Drill bore holes for rivets through both sheetmetal panels.
- Drill bore holes for blind rivets -A-
through both sheetmetal panels.
> Diameter 6, 6 mm
Bores in inner side panel (Coupe)
- Drill bore holes for countersunk blind rivets -B-
through both sheetmetal panels.
> Diameter 4, 1 mm
- Drill holes for self-tapping screws -1-
through the existing holes with > diameter 4 mm

Inner side panel (Coupe) and rear wheel housing
- Remove rear wheel housing.
- Prepare marked areas for bonding and riveting.

Bonding areas of rear wheel housing
- Remove inner side panel (Coupe).
- Prepare marked areas for bonding and riveting.

Bonding areas on inner side panel (Coupe)
- Apply adhesive evenly on the joint area of the inner side panel (Coupe) in the wheel housing flange area.
> Application depth 0.5 mm

Joint areas on wheel housing flange
- Apply adhesive on rear wheel housing in wheel housing flange area.
- 12.1
Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. > Application depth 0.5 mm
Also apply an adhesive bead of sealant all around the bonding surface. > Application depth 3 mm

Joint areas on wheel housing flange
- 12.1
Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. > Application depth 0.5 mm
- Rivet in rear wheel housing in wheel housing flange area on inner side panel (Coupe) from the inside out.
