Installing Inner Side Panel (Coupe)

Information

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive.
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed.
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available.

1. Install inner side panel (Coupe) and check that it fits perfectly.
2. Apply adhesive evenly on the joint area of the body. > Application depth 0.5 mm

3. Apply adhesive on inner side panel (Coupe).

   Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. > Application depth 0.5 mm 

   Also apply an adhesive bead of sealant all around the bonding surface. > Application depth 3 mm

4. Rivet in inner side panel (Coupe). > BLIND RIVET 999.190.229.01

6. Screw in and tighten self-tapping screws -1-  .

   > 5X00IN24 SETTING SELF-TAPPING SCREWS

7. Fold over tab -1-  using > VAS 6635/5 - crimping pliers  .
