Installing Reinforcement

Information

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive.
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed.
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available.

1. Install inner and outer reinforcement and check that they fit perfectly.
2. Remove inner and outer reinforcement.
3. Apply adhesive evenly on the joint area of the body. > Application depth 0.5 mm

4. Apply adhesive evenly on inner and outer reinforcement. > Application depth 0.5 mm

   1. 4.1  Also apply a bead of adhesive all around the bonding surface. > Application depth 3 mm

7. After completing all the work, prime the holes near the exposed rivets -1-  and also seal them using a seam seal.

8. Screw in and tighten self-tapping screws -1-
