Removing Corner Panel Of Rear Cover Plate (Coupe)

Information

Only drill through relevant component, not through all sheetmetal panels.

1. Drill out or grind off the back of the punch rivets.

2. Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - body dent removal system, aluminium  and > VAS 6790 - compact booster  .

3. Drill out penetrated joint.

4. Heat the marked bonding areas using > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower  .

5. Remove corner panel of rear cover plate (Coupe).
